Electronic love, that is
I recently decided to upgrade to a MacBook Pro (See post below). I wasn’t excited about dropping more money than I ever have on a computer (this model retails for approx. $2500, add the protection plan and tax and you can imagine the dent on my credit card, the price did drop following the Worldwide Developers Conference).
I use “pseudo” in my blog title for a reason. I love technology but my understanding of tech is not that deep. One thing I do know is that 4GB of memory and a 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor is pretty sexy and boy, can I fell the difference between this computer and my old MacBook circa 2006. I can run a ridiculous amount of programs at the same time and there is no lag time when switching from one screen to the next. The functioning of this laptop is top of the line (unless you want the 8GB model, then it’s second rate but for my needs, top of the line).
I also love that I can create my own videos. That was an option on my previous MacBook but the computer was slower which meant a video would take a very long time to create, if at all. Now, I can create silly videos is a very short period of time. Look what I created in just minutes (yes, it’s a very silly video):
I am not a graphic designer, video editor or music creator but the MacBook Pro has made my life so much easier and makes it realistic to play around with those features and pretend I work in one of those fields. I love it, I recommend it and although my credit card is sad right now, I am happy.
Also, I recently purchased a new camera with video capabilities. A review is coming soon so you won’t have to watch anymore grainy cat videos like the one above.
