As you can probably tell, I’ve been busy. I started on my resolutions for 2009 by walking everyday and eating healthier. I even conquered one of my fears: driving on the freeway. I wanted to post a quick blog entry about what has happened during the past week or so. It’s no secret, I love networking. Although I haven’t done as much lately as I would have liked, all the networking I did in 2008 really paid off.

I love networking because I love people and making new friends. For me, it has been great to meet a few famous people (including MC Hammer and iJustine) but more importantly, people in the bay area who are truly great people. All those folks knew that I left my job and was on the hunt for an new one. I’m still on the hunt but I had a couple of very active leads and some super awesome project work that I wouldn’t have had otherwise.

The lesson: Network as much as possible! There are people out there that you wouldn’t know otherwise.
